The Coens have released 2 films since their Oscar showdown with Paul Thomas Anderson in 2007. Anderson has finally announced his new film - not sure if the script is done or shooting is planned as of yet but any news is good news. Here's a link. It appears Anderson's obsession with religion continues. Any intelligent discussion about religion is always welcome. Here's another link. By the way, the Coens are set to re-team with Jeff Bridges for their True Grit remake next.

I am excited about this (duh), although I was hoping for another DDL/PTA pairing. The Coens held a casting call for True Grit in Dallas 3 weeks ago looking for the 12-15 year old girl to be in the film.
