The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were built between 1968 and 1973. These images were taken from the PBS documentary New York. Episode 8 is a 3 hour history of the World Trade Center, from its conception to its destruction. A fascinating, moving, and stimulating 3 hours. Click below for more pictures.

We almost need a new 'Twin Tower' label. These are cool pictures, and I've seen parts of that documentary, which is stirring.
