"Murray Takes It to the Next Level"
Murray wants to become "Friends" with Jemaine and Bret, but when they meet and don't like Murray's other friend Jim (played by Jim Gaffigan - a great comedian), things fall apart quickly. After a pretty nifty camera trick taking Mel into the sky, her song didn't really work. Mel describing her dreams to the guys and their responses were funny, though. The closing "Friends" song was humorous, unique, and a great way to close the episode. They really sell it. The beautiful New York skylines were a nice touch. The best line of the episode was delivered by Murray:
"How does that feel? A taste of your own d!ck medicine." Lots of other funny lines though, mostly by Murray. I like the different directions the new season has taken by giving Mel and Murray songs and giving Dave a verse or two. Another solid episode. "I don't even know you guys anymore!"

I thought this was the weakest episode so far this season - but still really funny. Murray had multiple laugh outloud lines, and jim's initial line of questioning (especially the musical preferences portion) was hilarious.
Also love Jemaine's response to Mel when she describes the great thing he did in her dream. I agree it's the weakest of the season so far, but still funny enough. Murray saved it.
The next episode is directed by Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine, Science of Sleep) and its plot revolves around Jemaine dating an Australian girl. Can't wait.
