1. Valkyrie - Tom Cruise stars in director Bryan Singer's thriller about the plot to take down Adolf Hitler within the Nazi Party. Nothing like a Scientologist in an eye-patch.

3. Persepolis - Animated genius about growing up in Iran.
4. Revolver - Director Guy Ritchie gets back to his roots with this crime drama starring Jason Statham, Ray Liotta and Andre Benjamin. Looks good.

6. The Other Boleyn Girl - Written by The Queen and Last King of Scotland scribe Peter Morgan, and starring Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johanson and Eric Bana.
7. The Golden Compass - Lord of the Rings wannabe starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. Directed by About a Boy's Chris Weitz. Boycotted by certain religious groups because of the atheism themes in the novels the film is based on.
8. The Great Debaters - Glory Road and Remember the Titans for a debate team. But looks good and 'uplifting'. Forrest Whitaker and Denzel Washington (starring and directing).
9. Cassandra's Dream - The new Woody Allen picture starring Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell and Tom Wilkinson.
10. What Would Jesus Buy (must have Quicktime) - New documentary from Morgan Spurlock about the commercialization of Christmas.
