I’m not usually one to discuss box office much since it has even less to do with quality than the Oscars, but there is something quite extraordinary going on with The Dark Knight. It’s already made around $315 million in 10 days, the fastest money-grosser ever and it’s hard to say where it will end. $500 million doesn’t look like too much of a stretch, but Titanic’s $600 million seems safe.
