Summer Movie Openings 5/1/09

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Looks like too much facial hair for the big screen. If you saw the leaked online version, you should feel guilty and see a priest.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

Those wondering where lawyer has been lately should know he has just been waiting in line for this film Star Wars-style so he'll be the first one to see it. He's such a sucker for romantic comedies, especially with Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner.

Click below for 3 more.

Battle for Terra

An animated film about a war in outer space. Evan Rachel Wood and Justin Long provide voices. Looks Terra-ble.

Merry Gentleman

Michael Keaton directs and stars as a suicidal hitman. Personal favorite Kelly MacDonald co-stars. Could have a nice indie feel. Played at Sundance.

Revanche

An Austrian language film that was nominated for Oscar a few months ago. Looking forward to this one the most. Supposedly, there's hookers, ex-cons, guns, vengenance, and redemption. I'm there.

Mea Culpa. I suck. Between avocations and local politics, my entertainment consumption has been weak. I'm back though. Here's to a post-y May. Thanks for holding down the fort.

Ghosts of GF Past looks like the best movie of the year so far....for me to poop on! If this is playing in WY, we all have to go, it would be great (unless Bruno is playing then -sexytime).
