Funny Farm - B+

This is one of my all-time favorite comedies. The 1988 Chevy Chase movie features classic 'fish out of water' and 'city/country' bits, all of which come to light when Chevy and his wife move to the rural and seemingly idyllic Red Bud. This is Chevy at his best, in one of his last funny roles. I never quite figured out why his career has been dead for the past 10 years; when his comedy is working it is as funny as it gets.

The best scenes: Lamb Fries ("Yes, sir, I do believe that's a new record"), the new dog (immediately) running away, and yellow dog.

Not a transcendent experience, but funny.
