With the release of The A-Team and The Karate Kid remakes in theaters today, everybody is partying like it's 1984 (and not exactly in the Orwellian sense - yet). Prince's landmark 1984 album had lots of innovative musical combinations and ideas. The song that hold up the best is his ode to family dysfunction and troubled new love (lust?).
