National Board of Review

The first "critics" group has given out their picks for the best of film in 2008 and Slumdog Millionaire has taken Best Film. David Fincher won best director, Clint Eastwood won best actor, and Anne Hathaway won best actress. Here are their 10 next best films in alphabetical order:

Including BAR and Changeling is a joke. This is clearly a group that loves Clint Eastwood.

They probably thought (as I do) that No Country for Old Men is so good is deserves to be on the list 2 years in a row.

I haven't liked any of Clint's films since Mystic River. I was on my way to see Changeling until I saw it was 140 minutes.
