Hotel Chevalier: In connection with Wes Anderson's new movie, The Darjeeling Limited, he filmed a short film prequel for Jason Schwartzman's character with his estranged girlfriend (a 'natural' Natalie Portman) that is intended to be seen before the movie. Hotel Chevalier is odd, with Portman seeming to reprise her role in Closer. Schwartzman and her have obviously been in a long relationship and broken up, with her wearing the pants during the relationship and in the breakup. Schwartzman's character has escaped her by holing up in an expensive (and YELLOW) Parisian hotel room, only to have her call and come up. She's bruised and gets ready for business inside of 5 minutes, but the baggage of the relationship appears to stymie such desires.
Kind of hard to watch on ITunes, with some pausing and missed shots, but looks like typical Wes.
