David Carr has served as the "Carpetbagger" for the last 4 years, providing analysis of films and the awards season. Watching his Bagger videos and reading his columns and blogs on the subject has been my favorite part of the process - his wit, intelligence and insights were all first-rate. He is resigning that position to cover media (?) - his replacement may be fine, but he will be missed. Here's one of the Bagger's videos in tribute.
