I fast forwarded 
through most of last night's MTV Video Music Awards because it seemed like a really long Idiocracy outtake. The one shining moment was when Adele outclassed everyone in the room with a simple, elegant black dress, a microphone and a piano. Watch last night's performance of the year's (decade's?) best song, Someone Like You.
