If you feel the Bruce Willis portion of Pulp Fiction is the weakest section, I've agreed with you for almost 17 years. But the following video analysis sheds a blinding amount of light on what exactly QT was up to.Part 2 after the jump. The Big Lebowski and Full Metal Jacket video analysis by Rob Ager on Collative Learning are also mind-blowing.

wow. that makes me want to never offer an opinion on any film ever again. phenomenal.
You'll probably love his Psycho analysis too. The big one for me was Full Metal Jacket, which I've grossly underestimated all these years. And his evaluation of The Big Lebowski shows it nearly at the same level as Fargo and NCFOM in terms of thematic points.
I read his Psycho analysis, which was quite interesting but not as revelatory as his pulp. The most interesting thing he says is that he rates Psycho II as better than Psycho (!). Actually, I think he wrote that on his mini-evaluation of Psycho II
Agreed. Psycho is classically shot so you can pick out the parallel characters if you've seen it a couple times. Pulp Fiction is shot aggressively, frequently drawing attention to the shots - and the dialogue and lurid nature of the material keeps you from looking for any subtext.
Another great insight I read about PF earlier this year was that Vincent Vega ultimately becomes a story like Tony Rocky Horror. Vincent took Mia out and there are probably rumors by the other gangsters about some infidelity. Vincent ends up dead, probably rumored by Marcellus's hand. But no one can actually know the truth.
I saw Psycho 2 for the first time earlier this year and it's better than expected but pretty far from the original.
I really like this, but don't buy a chunk of it. For instance, the analysis of the Shining is mostly baloney (except for the Native American themes).
He does seem to bend over backwards in his Kubrick analyses. Like Kubrick is incapable of a continuity error. The teddy bear placed in exactly the same way as the dead Hallorann is just one example of something I never noticed.
