You Can Count On Me - A

After reading the Doc's review, I decided to watch this one. How thankful I am.

The dialogue, direction and performances are all first-rate, especially the Ruffalo/Rudy interaction and all of Ruffalo's scenes. The scenes and dialogue with the priest are some of the best handling of religion and belief I've seen.

A rare full A.

    On the high side of A- for me. Maybe I'm wrong, but the scope of the film is just too small to be in the A territory. I love the title and how it emerges in the story. Matthew Broderick should be commended as well for great supporting work. A great film.

    I might bring it down to an A-, I am still fresh off of it. The Ruffalo take on the Almighty hit pretty close to home for me, so that might explain my connection to the story.
